A brief bio of the band:

4bitten were formed in 2002 and since then the line up the line up hasn’t been change.
\r\n\r\n
The band started by playing cover song shows in clubs in Athens and elsewhere in Greece and in the same time we started writing our own songs. In the end of 2008 we entered the studio in order to record our first album “No More Sins” which was released in 2009 by the British label Rock sector Records. This release led us to visit U.K. in 2009-2014 4 time for a total of 35 shows some of them on the side of Michael Schenker, Dan Reed and Dave Evans (AC/DC).In 2009 we released our second album entitled “Delirium” and we had a tour with U.F.O. in England and Europe.

How can you describe your sound and which are the basic musical influences for 4bitten.
\r\n\r\n
We consider our sound to be heavy rock and some of our basic musical influences are Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, ThinLizzy, Heart……
\r\n\r\n
From where you draw inspiration for the lyrics.
\r\n\r\n
Fofi is the one who writes the lyrics and the topics are an inspiration from many stuff such as things that occur every day , experiences that everybody has inside him, it can be a true story and generally anything that can be said for everything about the human nature.
\r\n\r\n
So far 4bitten have released two albums a few words about these releases.
\r\n\r\n
In 2009 we released our first album entitled “No More Sins” which was recorded in the soundflake studios in Athens were we also recorded our second album “Delirium” which was released in 2012.Both albums were released from the British label Rock sector Records.
\r\n\r\n
Was it difficult to find a label to release your material ? How satisfied are you with the cooperation with your label ?
\r\n\r\n
When we recorded our first album in 2008 we started looking for a label in order to release it. Our first move was to start sending our material in labels abroad. We had some offers and we ended up signing with the British label Rocksector Records.The cooperation was in a very good level and they helped us to make our first steps abroad especially in the U.K. by arranging lives and helping us by this way to promote our music. This is our target and we are satisfied to have succeed in the level that we wanted.

In the last years vinyl has made a comeback are there any thoughts for releasing your albums in vinyl.
\r\n\r\n
Indeed vinyl has made a comeback and everything comes out also in vinyl these days. We would like our third album to be released in vinyl and sometime in the future our first two.
\r\n\r\n
4bitten are especially active in live appearances and i know that they had played and toured with big and known names of the scene .A few words for the total experience in live appearances.
\r\n\r\n
From 2009 until today we had the luck to share the stage in Greece and abroad with big names such as: Michael Schenker, UFO, Uriah Heep, Blaze Bayley, The Devil’s Blood, Uli Jon Roth, Spiritual Beggars, Dan Reed, Dave Evans, Firewind
\r\n\r\n
The group consists of veterans . How you see things to evolve over time in the Greek scene?
\r\n\r\n
The Greek scene truly can present many great bands with amazing albums and many Greek bands make the step abroad ,we have a lot of participations of Greek bands in festivals abroad and my personal opinion is that everything will be much better in the future. I think that any Greek band who respects itself and works seriously must not be jealous, to foreign bands, and has nothing to be afraid of.

In the past there has been big talk about the fact that the fans don’t support the local scene. Do you see any difference nowadays ?
\r\n\r\n
Fans have started to realize how hard the Greek bands work and that they can’t envy the foreign bands in any way. I also see that beside the financial difficulties of the day the fans go to live shows and support their favorite bands. In the old days the bands had their fans who supported them but today internet offers the luxury to bands to promote their material with several ways which has increased the level in the relationship between the band and the fan.

So far two albums and many shows which are the future plans of 4bitten.
\r\n\r\n
At this moment we are finishing the recordings of our third album which is to be released in the end of 2014 or the begging of 2015. We are happy with our new material and we are anxious for you to listen to it. We hope that after the release we will be on the road for live shows in Greece and abroad.
