In the video below, drummer Thomen Stauch​​​​ (Mentalist, ex- Blind​​​​ Guardian) performs an alternate drum cover of Fifth Angels "Cry Out The Fools", originally featured on the band's 1986 self-titled album.

FINLAND'S ARCHED FIRE RELEASE NEW SINGLE / VIDEO "FEAR"; NEW ALBUM DUE IN SPRING 2023

Finland's Arched Fire, signed to Wormholedeath Records, have released a video for "Fear", the first single off their second album, Trust Betrayal, which will be released in spring of 2023. The B-side, "Trigger", is a Motörhead cover originally recorded for Antichrist Magazine's tribute album.

"'Fear' is one of those songs that just happen," says guitarist Ari Väntänen. "I had some riffs that I asked Kristian (Herkman / vocals) to record. As it turned out, the song was right there, just waiting to be born. We came up with the chorus part while recording the verses and the bridges.

FORMER DOKKEN BASSIST JEFF PILSON LOOKS BACK ON UNDER LOCK AND KEY - "I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS A MISTAKE TO PUT OUT 'THE HUNTER' FIRST"

Former Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, who is now with Foreigner, recently guested on the Rockin’ Interviews Podcast. During the chat he looked back on his days with Dokken

Pilson: "I always thought it was a mistake on our Under Lock And Key record (1985) to put out 'The Hunter' first. The reason we put out 'The Hunter' first is our management at the time: they fell in love with that song before there were even vocals on it.
