\r\nWell,\r\nwell…What have we got here? That is some cool shit. I admit that I haven’t\r\nlistened to good progressive death metal since the last Cynic album. And these\r\nguys look them straight in the eye! Storming from Athens, Greece and having George Kollias of Nile to support them as far as the drums\r\nare concerned, these people created a debut album that needs a lot of\r\nattention. First of all let’s talk about the music. Death metal with touches of\r\nprog and tech-death straight to your face as the masters of the kind taught it.\r\nPowerful guitars, loud growling and “greasy” vocals and a rhythm section that\r\ngives us our ears hanging on a keychain. The influences are obvious: Atheist,\r\nWatchtower,Cynic, Pestilence and Death; they all meet in a cool fusion. As far\r\nas the sound quality is concerned what I ‘ve got to say is that it is well\r\nworked and the production fits this kind perfectly (the mix and mastering was\r\ndone at Grindhouse Studios with the help of G.Bokos of Rotting Christ).Lyrics\r\nare also great, they are dark and symbolic and I was pleased to see that these\r\nguys are influenced by W.Blake. All these packed in beautiful artwork gives us\r\nhopes for the resurrection of progressive death. My speakers got dirty and hot\r\nwith these release. Listen to them and you will see.\r\n
