Οι Evergrey πάντα στον ευρύχωρο πεδίο του progressive power που βρίσκονται και πάντα σε γκρι φόντο, πότε πιο ανοικτό και με αισιόδοξες πινελιές, πότε βαθύ γκρι της μελαγχολίας, δημιουργούν και παίζουν την σκοτεινή μουσική τους. Τον καιρό εκείνο, αρχές 10ς, τα ζόρια ήταν έντονα με αποχωρήσεις μελών με όχι και τόσο όμορφο τρόπο και με αναρτήσεις του main man των Evergrey Tom S Englund που έδειχναν πόνο και θλίψη για όσα δραματικά συνέβαιναν στην μπάντα.
Κάποιοι μουσικοί στους heavy metal κύκλους, έχουν σχολιαστεί πολύ, θετικά ή αρνητικά, για κάποιο χαρακτηριστικό τους που δεν έχει σχέση με την ίδια τη Μουσική. Ο King Diamond για το βάψιμο, o Glen Benton για τον ανάποδο σταυρό στο μέτωπο και ατελείωτα παραδείγματα που θα χρειαζόμουν πολύ περισσότερο χώρο για να αφιερώσω. Κάτι ανάλογο ''έπαιξε'' και με τον Καναδό Jon Mikl. Ποιος είναι αυτός; Ο τραγουδιστής/μποντιμπιλντεράς των THOR.

Η σχέση μου με το Black Metal δεν υπήρξε ποτέ ανέφελη, ειδικά όσον αφορά την κλασική βόρεια σκηνή. Για χρόνια, έβρισκα το ύφος μονότονο, σαν να επιβεβαίωνε τη φράση πως «όλα είναι ίδια αν δεν τα αγαπάς». Ωστόσο, υπάρχει μια αξιοσημείωτη εξαίρεση σε αυτή τη μουσική απέχθεια, και αυτή είναι η ελληνική Black Metal σκηνή.
Η Relics from the Crypt έκανε διπλή ζημιά όσο αφορά τους Γερμανούς Not Fragile. Όχι μόνο επανακυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο τους ep του 1988 αλλά μας προσφέρει και το υλικό που προοριζόταν για ντεμπούτο. Ο λόγος για το ''One Way to Glory'' που ηχογραφήθηκε το 1989 και τελικά τραγούδια του συμπεριλήφθηκαν σε μεταγενέστερους δίσκους του 1992 (Hard to Be Alive) και 1993 (Lost in a Dream), δηλαδή του πρώτου και του δεύτερου άλμπου,ς τους τα οποία βγήκαν λίγα χρόνια αργότερα.

Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth recently spoke with Finland's Chaoszine about his journey as a metal vocalist.
For over three and a half decades Overkill‘s bottom line crazy method of thrash has produced some of the most significant moments in the world of metal. Now in the latter half of their career, the New Jersey thrash metal veterans show all their experience with “Scorched” sounding more mature, refined, and embellished with hints of more than just thrash metal.
Former Accept bassist Peter Baltes opened up about his departure from the German metal legends in 2018 in an interview with Dr. Music citing unhappiness and finding out he was a hired gun when Accept reformed in 2009.
Baltes: “I was extremely unhappy and I found out a few things. I had been with the band forever and I found in the end, in this incarnation of the band, I wasn’t even a member, but a hired gun.

Την Κυριακή 13/4 το βράδυ, όλοι οι (μεταλλικοί) δρόμοι οδηγούσαν στον Κορυδαλλό. Και αυτό γιατί μια απο τις ιστορικότερες ελληνικές μπάντες, οι Reflection, έκλεισαν ραντεβού με τους εκπροσώπους του Τύπου αλλά και τους οπαδούς τους στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Κορυδαλλού, για την παρουσίαση-προακρόαση του νέου τους δίσκου με τίτλο The Battles I Have Won.
