\r\nFirst of all allow me to congratulate you for the “Abandoned” MCD. Is it available for anyone to purchase this one, or is just for promotional reasons. And if it is available how can anyone buy this one?\r\n

\r\nHello and thanks for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed Abandoned. For the moment it’s only for promotional reasons since our full length album is already done. Thus we decided to put out a sample of our work just to find out what would people think of it.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Let’s cut to the chase, well how difficult is for a band that is not based on a Capital or a major city (Athens, Thessalonica, Patra, etc) to have a professional recording like you did?
\r\n
\r\nIt is kinda hard if you come to think that you rarely can find a prof. recording studio in small cities as the one we’re in. We were lucky enough to have a newly made studio in our hometown though (called “Ghost Studio”) which contributed a lot to our cause. We’ve spent every hour we could spare in there so that we can create what we had in mind. Lastly our mix and master took place in Thessaloniki at Underground studios which helped us a lot in building a solid sound. In genially things will always be difficult for bands not being around big cities, what matters is how determined you can always be and you can say we were a lot.

\r\nMetalzone: So, in this MCD you put despite your great (In My Opinion) music also your money, value time and soul right?
\r\n
\r\nEverything is needed. And nothing is less important than anything. We are passionate, stubborn and most of all we love what we do. We’ve accomplished what we’ve always had in mind with this full length album and every sacrifice we’ve made was worth it.

\r\nMetalzone: Give us a brief introduction to Everflow
\r\n
\r\nWe were created back in 1999 and managed that time to record a demo cd with 3 songs. Since then our line up changed a bit with the current one being the strongest one in many ways. So it’s Markos Valavanis who is responsible for the vocals and keyboards plus nearly every orchestration , choir and music you hear , Dimitris T. plays the guitars along with Dimtris D. who is also responsible for the lyrics. John Chatzigiannis is on the bass guitar and John Nalbantis is on the drums.

\r\nMetalzone: “Abandoned” is a self released MCD, what are you expecting from this release, some contract with a label maybe?
\r\n
\r\nA good contract with a record deal would be our greatest expectation along with the fact that we hope people will like our music.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: If I ask you to pick up the strongest feature of Everflow what would be? You music, the vocals, the structure of compositions? Or something else?
\r\n
\r\nA sum of everything would be the best pick. When we create our songs we always try to make everything perfect. Nothing is less or more important.
\r\n
\r\nMetalzone: Well, when I first listened to your samples on your “my space” page I noticed the great resemblance of Markos vocals (your Vocalist) with Mark Vanderbilt ones (ex singer of Kamelot). This fact despite the fact that Markos has a great and unique voice, do you thing will cause you any kind o problems in the feature?
\r\n
\r\nMarkos has a unique voice indeed. We never believed that in any way a resemblance with any singer could cause a problem. Apart from that Markos knows that he needs to prove his uniqueness and we all think that he’s doing a great job.

\r\nMetalzone: Any live shows confirmed for the spring / summer time?
\r\n
\r\nSome live shows will eventually take place in Thessaloniki,Kastoria and alongside our hometown but nothing is yet confirmed.
\r\n

\r\nMetalzone: Plans for the future? Are you in contact for a distro for a better distribution of the MCD? Or maybe with a label
\r\n
\r\nNo contacts yet. We’ll run along our promo cd to everyone plus of course some labels and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
