\r\nIt is said that big loves can lead to big hates. This is pretty much the way I could describe my relationship with QUEENSRYCHE. And this isn’t because after Operation: Mindcrime they stopped playing metal, I do believe that every musician has the right to experience with his music and play whatever he wants, although some people don’ t like that. QUEENSRYCHE were pioneers in that field and none of their albums was similar to the other . It could be suggested that in some cases the differences between the albums were so big, that if you delete the voice of Geoff Tate you think that you hear an entirely different band. \r\n

\r\nWhat really bothered me, were the statements of Tate about their first, homonymous E.P., where he mentioned that they never should have released it cause it was unacceptable, totally amateurish and in general embarrassing for him and the band.. With these statements he implied that hundred of thousands of people that bought it were completely as....es, taking also into account the fact that in some poor countries like Greece they paid lots of money to get it, since it was very difficult to find and only imported. But dear "Mr" Tate, you really should think that if there weren’t for those ash....es, you would never had the opportunity to sign a contract with a major label like EMI America, which in her turn allowed you to produced and release your future masterpieces. Furthermore "Mr" Tate you would probably have never become the wealthy and respectable musician that you are now and you would have most likely ended up in a fish-market somewhere in Seattle, selling codfish...It could also have been possible for you to hang out with Warrel Dane, another as...ole, which decided to break off the super group called SANCTUARY and create the "trash" band called NEVERMORE and he finally ended open up a restaurant!!!! What do you say now "Mr" Tate? Would it be a good idea to get in business with Warrel?? Cause if I think of everything you have released the recent years, you become expert to "trashes"..... \r\n

\r\nBut, as it is also said, big loves can never be forgotten. QUEENSRYCHE for me weren’t just a big love but a big adoration. An adoration that began when I first listened their E.P. and the astonishing shout of Geoff Tate at the beginning of the amazing Queen Of The Reich "tearing up" the air in my room, just like it was a piece of paper... I’m going to say one simple thing to you "Mr" Tate: no matter how many masterpieces you had released during your glorious (up to a point) career, this "unacceptable", "amateurish" and "embarrassing" song, as you said, WAS, IS AND FOREVER WILL BE THE ANTHEM OF YOUR BAND. Nothing more.... \r\n

\r\nNothing more only for the specific song of course, cause many others of these "unacceptable", "amateurish" and "embarrassing" songs follow, like my beloved Nightrider, with the simple but at the same time wonderful chorus, that continues to travel me till today, like it used to do then "...The Nightrider Sails Away...".  But, as you would probably say "Mr" Tate, what a "rubbish" ... I truly can’t understand how you accepted to sing it ... But I forgot: you weren’t so arrogant at that time.. Another "amateurish" piece of shit follows, the astonishing Blinded, and the album ends with another "unacceptable" song, a total "disgrace" for the band, the wonderful The Lady Wore Black. All of you that are going to buy this Cd -although I think that every fan of this music that respect itself has already done it- will find as a bonus track the amazing Prophecy, a song that was written (like the Queen Of The Reich) by the guitarist Chris DeGarmo during The Warning sessions and finally was recorded with their third album Rage For Order. This song was not included, and I really can’t understand the reason why, in any of the group’s albums. Should I think that you had something to do with that "Mr" Tate, since you didn’t want anyone to find out that Chris DeGarmo WAS, IS AND FOREVER WILL BE (despite the fact that he could not longer tolerate you and left... twice...) THE HEART, THE SOUL, THE MIND AND THE ABSOLUT LEADER OF QUEENSRYCHE? Bad luck for you "Mr." Tate, because we understood that.... \r\n

\r\nI hope that you will be able to understand me and not think of my words as exaggerations. You see, the bigger the love is, the more it pains when it betrays you and the more intense the reactions are. But I think I said enough, cause when we talk about the SUPER-GROUP of this period there is no room for acrimonious comments. There is only room for glorification and endless respect for their enormous talent. A talent that was shown from the first moment, changing forever the global Metal scene. From the moment that this E.P. was released nothing was ever the same.... \r\n

\r\nI almost forgot... I really try to be kind but they don’ t let me... Dear "Mr" Tate, isn’ t enough for you that for so many years you "assault" your history and your name, is it also necessary to "assault" the history of others too, by "executing" their songs?  What the poor Neon Knights did to you and you "rapped" it like that? Why don’ t you just leave it, my "blusterer"?? Why don’ t you go and sing (while you still can, considering how you have ended up) these bullshits you release all those years and leave all the others alone. But now that I’ m thinking about it, just to give you a small credit, the title of this "monstrosity" with the arrangements that you recently released, refers directly to the action every fan should take when he sees it at the record-stores: Take Cover.... \r\n
