Ancient Balls - Era of Sin

\r\n-Ancient Balls- is a new band from Salonica, Greece that plays Death Metal with groovy elements. The band was formed in 2009 and one year after they released two demos. This is the second Demo of the band where -Ancient Balls- are playing five new songs.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nThe title of the album is -Era of Sin- and it’s a good album that combines slow Death Metal with Groovy Death Metal, with nice atmospheric intros, nice guitars, heavy bass and good drumming. The voice of Paschalis is in a Death Metal mood that combines the vocals of bands such as Six Feet Under and Bolt Thrower. The production is not the best I have ever heard and so is the cover, very simple, showing only the band’s logo and a lightning.\r\n

\r\n-Ancient Balls- are doing their start with these Demos and everybody can feel that this band can do better than that. For me this band is almost sure that they will fix their sound and they will record great albums. -Era of Sin- has nice tracks, great ideas and a lot of passion. The bad production is the only basic problem but if you combine it with the simple artwork, -Era of Sin- can easy give you a feeling of a quick work. But, we must not forget that this is a self-released Demo and if this band had more money, better equipment and a good producer this album would be far better. I hope they will return with a better album because they deserve it and I am pretty sure they will have better production and more interesting cover artworks.\r\n
