Apeiron - Among The Lost

Apeiron - Among The Lost

\r\nThe band exists for almost a decade and it has recently released its first album; I doubt how promising can that be, especially when music wise it’s nothing new or really inspired.
\r\nSo, this is the debut album for the Italians Apeiron; the production, the mixing and the layout are pretty fine. Death Metal based much on In Flames and Dark Tranquility music patterns, while it’s obvious that Apeiron seeks a modern approach by even using jazz elements, which give another sense to the heavy and rotten atmosphere of their music, along with the use of melodic parts. The vocals on some spots differ from the typical Death Metal style as they turn out to Metalcore and that, combined with the outbursts, make the songs interesting enough.
\r\nIn conclusion, it’s not a bad album; however I think that it would hardly stand out among all these new releases. I can‘t really say which songs or parts I liked the most, rather that having a generally positive aspect for the album. Like I said before, it’s nothing new. \r\n
