BLOODLINE SEVERED - Visions Revealed

\r\nBloodline Severed are an American band serving melodic death metal and with their debut album “Visions Revealed” they seem to claim some space among the masters like “Trivium” and “Lamb of God”. So what we’ve got here is a mixture of modern melodic death/thrash through a very good production and some really nice compositions varying rhythmically from mid-tempo to high speed dynamites. From the first to the last song there is a noticeable  variety not only in the astonishing guitar work that keeps your head banging but also in the extremely melodic choruses starting with “clean” vocal lines just to evolve the very next minute to black metal shrieks. This whole thing along with the bombastic production manage to create a real dynamite for the genre. If you ask me which song did I like most I’d find it really hard to answer since each one of them has its own character, on the other hand I think that “Inception of Perspicacity” with its “In flames” sounding riffing really stands out while “Reborn” and the more progressive-like “Silhouette of Doubt” are some of their most inspired songs. Surely not something new but I thing they deserve a chance. All you melodic death/metelcore freaks, should check this one out, as for the rest, it wouldn’t be bad to add it to your collection.\r\n
