Blue Dawn - S/T

\r\n“Well…Italy\r\nand in specific ,a Black Widow Records release, this one for sure it will meet\r\nmy standards” This was my first thought , when I first got this CD in my hands,\r\nthe debut release of Blue Dawn. Blue Dawn is a fresh band, formed in 2009 by Andrea\r\nDi Martino on drums and Enrico Lanciaprima (God.zilla, Electric Motherfuckers, Medea\r\nTarantula) On Bass guitar, and later on Monica Santo joined the band to take\r\nher place behind the mic stand. So after the first spin of the album I was sure\r\nthat my first thought was right!!! The album features some great psychedelic\r\nDoom Rock in all its glory, with female vocals, many keyboard sounds and some superb\r\nguitar work by Paolo Cruschelli. The music themes keep on changing  and this transition sounds so smooth,  there are many progressive rock elements here,\r\nsolid guitar sound that make the whole outcome to be listened with such an\r\nease, so smooth, especially due to their 70’s influences something that is\r\nobvious on tracks like “Hypnotized By Fire” while their doomier side can be\r\nheard on tracks like “Shattered Illusion”, “In My Room” etc. The balance\r\nbetween all these elements I wrote above is really very good. For sure all of\r\nyou, friends of Black Widow Records you have to take a listen to this album,\r\nsince Black Widow is a label for very specific ears!\r\n
