\r\nCease Of Breeding hail from Salonia, Greece and are here to add another stone to the massive wall of greek death metal. After the release of their first EP 2 years ago, they prepared their material and with Amputated Vein Records backing them up they unleash carnage and mayhem with great ease. Hyperfast and hyperbrutal death metal yet with a crisp sound and memorable compositions.

\r\n Targeting a very specific audience of course, the band summons its influences from bands they love, especially Disavowed and build this colossus called Sounds Of Disembowelment. The songs are mostly ultra fast, with blastbeats and everything in between. The lads got a new drummer in the face of Jan Benkwitz(ex-Belphegor) who probably swallowed a machine gun when he was kid and cannot stop blasting ever since! Still, songs are not overrun by chaos. The production is amazingly clear and the riffing dwelling within is quite memorable - although technical too. There’s lots of groove as well, something that gives a touch of variety to the album. Songs are killing with intensity and vocals help along with deep growls, in fact, at some slower parts the voice brought Saprogenic to mind, utter rotteness!

\r\n I’ve told this before: the local brutal death metal scene consists of extremely talented bands and Cease Of Breeding is no exception. This is another dynamite release that proves the quality of the greek scene, a scene the local metalheads need to support even more. Sounds Of Disembowelment stands out of the global underground death metal releases as it has a lot to offer. Do not ignore this album, especially now that the future of Disavowed looks pale...\r\n
