Crematory - Infinity

Crematory - Infinity

\r\nOne reason why I always liked CREMATORY is because of their special music style; it’s too “heavy” to be labeled as “Goth Metal” and, at the same time, too “pop” to be labeled as Melodeath metal.
\r\nThis is their new album after “Pray” and the band seems to be in a really good mood and shape, and I’m glad about that because I consider them as an important group of the dark side of metal music. Melancholic atmosphere, growls and clean vocals in perfect balance, endless melodies, electro elements which give a slightly brighter feeling to the so dark songs of the album, imposing industrial spots, heavy riffs, crystal clear production, catchy choruses.. well, what more would one expect from a band of this music genre? Nice songs of course. Those who are familiar with CREMATORY are already aware of their tension to repeat themselves in their albums, nonetheless I think that they have done a very good job in “INFINITY”, plus they totally prove that when some trends are about to die, only the good ones survive, and hell CREMATORY did survive throughout the years.. so, it’s subjective whether you will like them or not.
\r\nThere’s also a DEPECHE MODE cover in the album for the song “Black Celebration” in nice goth tones. This version actually made me love this song even more.. \r\n
