DANTE - Saturnine Album Trailer

Dante - Saturnine

\r\nDante’s music profile is very dark and gloomy but, at the same it time, it’s heavy, prog, melodic and complicating; the band combines both their influences coming from Pink Floyd, ELP, Genesis with those from the contemporary  music scene, such as Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree.
\r\n“Saturnine” is their second album. It all began a couple of years ago, when they released their debut album “Inner Circle”, which was very exciting for Progsters worldwide. A special feature of their style is the vocals of Alexander Gohs, who doesn’t follow a cliché way of singing, in contrast with many other frontmen coming from this music genre.
\r\nEverything fits absolutely perfect, synths, guitars, rhythm section, creating altogether such a massive sound and such a powerful album. The compositions can appeal to anyone’s taste, as some of them are more “simple” concerning their structure and time, while others are more perplexing and long, time –wise. For instance, the last song of the album, “Vanessa”, which is almost 19 minutes long; this song is like a sumptuous feast of riffs, melodies and ideas and it leaves a bittersweet taste of longing for the next album of Dante. \r\n
