Destrage - The King Is Fat'N'Old

\r\nDestrage come from Italy and about a month ago they released their second album, “The King Is Fat’N’Old”.
\r\nThe strongest point of the band is the guitars, as the continuous changes of the compositions give them lots of space so to stand out. I will avoid using the term “Modern Metal”, because it is a very general description; Destrage can be labeled as a Metalcore band, for starters. The band has many influences and elements, varying from grind, death and thrash metal, to rock ‘n’ roll (i.e."Jade’s Place") and its music is not absolutely based on a specific direction or form, in fact the playing turns out to technical on some parts.
\r\nAll in all, I think that so many elements altogether make the songs pretty tiring, plus there’s no coherence after some point as it’s all confused. What’s for sure is that the album is totally unpredictable and insane! \r\n
