Doomshine - The Piper at the Gates of Doom

The German outfit Doomshine with their debut LP “Thy Kingdoom Come” left many of us wandering what the hell had hit us and a great amount of Doomshine fans to wonder oufselfs for about six years, when the new album is going to be out, just to feel once again their unique sound and lyricism. So, these are the good news, the new album by Doomshine entitled “The Piper at the Gate of Doom” is at last out on Massacre Records.
\r\nMany of you that reading this review right now, you are familiar to these Germans’ sound, this is all about epic doom metal in the veins of Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus, and in my humble opinion their best feature is the lyricism that flows from Tim’s vocals and with the great help of Doomshine’s gigantic melodic chorus lines make the listener to travel to his doomier part of his soul. So thankfully the new opus is a worthy successor to Doomshine’s  legacy (yes these guys left already a legacy, with only one LP and one 7” single til now) This is all about classic epic doom metal riffing with some great solos (Crow Pilot for example) and solid doom feeling throughout the “The Piper at the Gates of Doom”, the feeling that right now is making my task of reviewing this one so difficult ‘cause I can’t keep my head steady to stare this monitor…
\r\nDoomshine with “Thy Kingdoom Come” made us raving and now with “The Piper At the gates of Doom” are making us to welcome the new super-band of epic doom metal sound. All of us who cherish doom metal the purchase of the album is a must…
