Eluveitie - Everything Remains as It Never Was

The Swiss band Eluveitie is an extremely interesting case of a band which harmonically combines folk with death metal.They established themselves in the wider industry of folk music after releasing ’’Slania’’ in 2008.After having tried the more traditional instrumental forms they did in ’’Evocation I:The Arcade Domination’’, the Swiss returned to their roots and used the already successful recipe that made them widely known.That was the introduction of bagpipes,flute,violin and traditional instruments combined with extreme vocals.The album ’’Everything remains(as it never was)’’ contains also clearly instrumental songs that prove their ability to travel the listener through time with their melodies.
\r\nUndoubtedly the song that stands out in this cd,as it was also the first one that was released before the cd,is called ’’Thousandfold’’.It is the masterpiece of the cd.However this does not mean ,in any case,that the other songs aren’t as good as this one.
\r\nIn conclusion,tha album ’’Everything remains(as it never was)’’is undoubtedly one more good album in Eluveitie’s production which is not going to let down any fan of this certain kind of music.
