Excalion - High Time

\r\nI don’t know about you, but I often think of all these times from the past, when I was really mesmerized by the music of STRATOVARIUS. “HIGH TIME” brought all these beautiful moments back to me; I really enjoyed listening to it.
\r\nIt’s the third album of the finish band EXCALION, which was released recently via LIMB MUSIC, following the very good previous album of theirs, “WATERLINES”. Nice melodic Power metal, with no mixtures, nor mixing and matching from other music genres, not complicated spots, but with clear structure, instead. Well, this band definitely is very good in all levels, even though I’d rather their guitars were much more heavy. The vocals and the keyboards feature the songs, but this, of course, doesn’t imply that all the rest are somehow secondary in the album. It’s just that both the vocal lines and the keys melodies stick to your mind the most, IMO.
\r\nEleven songs with very good ideas from a band, which gives us one more reason to pay attention to it every time it releases a new album.
