Exodus - “Exhibit B- The Human Condition”

Well that’s a surprise! Exodus are back with a bone breaking album! “Exhibit B- The Human Condition” is the sequel to “Exhibit A..” of 2007 but in fact musically as a whole is a way better than its predecessor! Truth is that after the awesome reunion album “Tempo Of The Damned” I lost my interest on the band cause for me this band wasn’t Exodus anymore. After the replacement of Steve Souza and Rick Hunolt by Rob Dukes (vocals) and Lee Altus (guitar) and the band to sound more like Shadows Fall and Unearth (obviously targeting to a different group of buyers) and less like the pioneers of Bay Area Thresh metal my appreciation of the band was almost gone. Fortunately in the new album Exodus seem to be back on track again. Well don’t expect to listen to some “Bonded By Blood” part 2, here you’ll listen to spine crashing thrash metal the good old Exodus way! Rob Duke’s voice sounds thrashier than ever since he’s prefers singing rather than growling while the fiery riffing of Gary Holt and Lee Altus will remind you of old Exodus more than ever! The compositions though quite long for Exodus (7 mins average) they are not at all boring, on the contrary with the constant change of riffing and the inspired soloing they’ll make you bang your head until your brains blow up!
\r\nHere you’ll find some of the best tracks ever written by the band, listen to “Beyond The Pale”, “Class Dismissed” and “Nanking” and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The concept of the lyrics is more or less expected, stories about the causes of human paranoia and its catastrophic results has always been a favorite subject for most of the Thrash bands out there! The behavior of a man driven to the extremes couldn’t have a better soundtrack. Andy Sneap’s production gives at last a massive sound to the guitars making them sound as they should be!
\r\nSo, to cut the long story short, “Exhibit B- The Human Condition” is an album that puts Exodus back to their rightful place!
