Facebreaker - Infected

\r\nIs there anyone not into Bolt Thrower? If you have already started reading this you may as well stop now because what lies ahead, an also this album, is none of your business. Yes my dear hairy friends, the beloved swedes have the balls and the attitude to play groovy death metal!

\r\n We are being attacked for the third time by this swedish tank and the result easily gets classifies as Bolt Thrower-ish styled metal even on a production level. The heavy guitars, the fluent double bass drums, it all shows the band’s love for passionate playing disregarding any technical show off maneuvers. Facebreaker do not aim for the most original band title, on the contrary, they show little interest in it and the treat tastes rather sweet in the end. Speed varies, but is mostly up tempo, and the groove is so powerful it can smash necks like chopsticks!

\r\n I don’t know how much more there is to say about Infected. I think it’s one of those cases that the music speaks for itself. Death metal for those who savour the european style and acts like the mighty Benediction, Hail Of Bullets and Grave. Along come some damn fine guitar solos that deliver the oldschool lover from the solo lacking releases of today. Heaviness, reeking death, heabanging and minimal yet essential riffs are here to take you to the pit. Those of you who can’t wait any longer for Bolt Thrower’s new album will find a new love after For Victory and the IVth Crusade in the face of a band with the coolest name around: Facebreaker!\r\n
