Finally Deceased - Finally Deceased

\r\n I’ll turn into a bitch from the very begining. Why do some stuck to the part where they WANT to play death metal instead of actually doing so? Where’s the brutality, the darkness, the aggression? It wouldn’t matter if you’re supposed to be playing NWOSDM but what do you do when the songs are so indifferent?

\r\n German act Finally Deceased manage to through us into the deepest swamp of boredom with their bad "death metal". No passion, no nerve, weak riffing, no sign of actuall fury and vocals that need a lot of work and rehearsals to be able to enter a studio in order to record worthy material. I really don’t want to be so frustrating but I found very little stuff to hold on to. Even the cover art is boring! The band is only labeled as death metal because of the distorted vocals, not even their tuning is convincing enough. There are few moments that truly entertained me.

\r\n Germany has bands to be proud of(like Defeated Sanity and Suffocate Bastard) but Finally Deceased seem to be an exception. Their self titled debut, being released 16 years after their very first recording does not justify the time spent to create it. Hell, Burzum is releasing their new album after only two years! At least the production is somewhat good although it could be a lot heavier, especially on the guitar sound. Some melodic leads are the only worth mentioning parts of all this after many listening sessions. From there on you have to be a non demanding person in order to actually say you like this...

\r\n ps-"Soul Destiny" is the only track with a story to tell and nice ideas. Perhaps they should redirect their focus on it.\r\n
