Legends never Die, for sure, especially in this occasion of Italian outfit Graal, if by the word “Legends” they mean their musical influences, then for sure bands like Genesis, Camel, Kansas, Styx, Nektar, Caravan etc can never die, although many of them are no longer active, newer bands like Graal keep on spreading their unique music.
\r\n“Legends Never Die ” is the third release by these Italians, which music can be described as music from United Kingdom and no from Italy, and to be more specific they can be described as a late 60’s early 70’s Uk band. 12 compotitions on this album that can easily take the listener for a trip from classic rock to progressive rock golden era, many 70’s moog keyboards, classic rock riffing, Wah Wah pedals groovy bass lines and most important a feeling of freedom in their compositions that for sure cheers you up, and move you to groove while you are listening to this gem.
\r\nFrom the medieval inspired intro “Il Ballo Di Caterina” to the dreamy instrumental “The Sky over Dublin” that if someone has played this one without telling me the band, I would suggerst for sure that this is camel. While there are some more groovy and up tempo tracks such as “Keep on Moving” with a Deep Purple feeling in it. The majority of the album sounds close to Genesis with many variations on their musical themes and some Kansas alike riffing.
\r\nSo guys, if you need an album for the summer, to cheer you up while in the meantime has a intense dreamy feeling then “Legends Never Die” is you best choice
