Hellish Crossfire - Bloodrust Scythe

When I first listened to this German outfit, Hellish Crossfire and their first album “Slaves of the Burning Pentagram” I felt like the good old speed / thrash metal isn’t dead despite the fact that many records labels want it dead, so they put many bands that has nothing to do with the genre under the label “Thrash Metal”
\r\n“Bloodrust Scythe” is the second full length release by these Germans that moves into the speed/ thrash  genre with some touches of early black metal something like the Swedes Bewitched (for those that might still remember Bewitched). Hellish Crossfire are heavily influenced by bands like Celtic frost, Mercyful Fate and of course a by a variety of thrash metal bands like Destruction, Kreator, Exodus etc. So In this album you are about to listen a classic speed / thrash holocaust with countless riffs, many melodic leads and guitar solos and in general this is music with BALLS!!!
