High Noon - No Turning Back

High Noon - No Turning Back

\r\nThe story goes back to 1989, when two young boys, Ken and Sam decide to join forces. They create the band High Noon, which is absolutely in the spirit of the time; they are playing Hard Rock/Hair Metal, which was very popular back then.
\r\nA few live shows, good PR and a demo followed up, however, the band split up very soon. Problems between band members on one hand and the “empire” of Grunge on the other hand, led to the end of their history which was marked by their last show on August ’93.
\r\n“No Turning Back” is now released with lots of romantic and perhaps nostalgic mood for that era. It contains songs that were recorded between the years 1989-1994. Michael Lardie (Great White) in on the production and Michael Wagener on the mixing (Skid Row, Dokken, & Extreme).
\r\nIt’s pretty odd to review a cd which is released after so many years (1,5 decade belated- all the “package” included; sound quality, photo shooting concept, hair style, image, clothing etc).  Nonetheless, the band could have a brilliant career among the bands of its genre. Back then yes, regardless, I have to rate it on the year 2010!\r\n
