HOUSE OF LORDS - Cartesian Dreams

House of Lords - Cartesian Dreams

\r\nI think that many of you out there miss the warm summer night under the moonlight near a beautiful beach as the soft wind touches your face and the sound of the waves becomes the ideal soundtrack. Are we there yet? Well, all I kept thinking while listening to “Cartesian Dreams” was moments such as these.
\r\nI liked this album more than the previous one because I think that the compositions are actually better. The main spots are once again the following: groove, melodies, explosive Malmsteen-like solos and AOR-ish choruses, in other words exactly what’s needed for a band of their music style. Afterall, what else would one expect from House of Lords? They do what they know best. I prefer “heavier” and more “experimental” kinds of music, however House of Lords are very special to me because of the quality of their work and I consider them as one of the important band names of their music genre.
\r\n“Sweet September” on one hand, “Train” on the other... alrighty, I got in a “mellow” mood! Cheerz!\r\n
