Iron Man - The Passage

Iron Man - The Passage

This Last year, with such a pleasure I see Shadow Kingdom Records re – releases some of my personal favorite albums, albums that are too difficult for someone to purchase these days due too the “out of Print” status of them, and if by any luck someone finds them, he has to pay some good amount of money to get them.
\r\nSo this time we have the re – release of my personal favorite album by the Maryland Doom Metal Legends Iron Man, “The Passage”. The album has been originally released in 1994 on the legendary Hellhound Records, and just for the record, this one was the second release by the Maryland outfit, one year after their debut release “Black Night”.
\r\nWith a new vocalist (Dan Michalak) and a new drummer (Gary Isom - Pentagram, Unorthodox, Wretched etc) Iron Man follow the vintage sound of Black Sabbath and Pentagram bounded with some strong NWOBHM touches, so the outcome was “The Passage”.
\r\nIf any of you have listened to this one, there is no need for me to describe the music, its about the groove, the riffs, the rawness with most remarkable features, the great vocals of Dan and the great guitar work by Al Morris III
\r\nIn This particular re – release you will also find a dvd as a bonus disk. (Have you ever dreamt of an Iron Man DVD????” This dvd features a live show in 1999 (and just for the record, this was the only live appearance of Ginger, on bass guitar) plus some live tracks of Black Sabbathon (Black Sabbath Cover band featuring Al Morris III and Joe Hasselvander, amongst others). As for the quality of the DVD, it is just great for a bootleg recording.
\r\nDo I have to write anything else?
