Joe Hasselvander - Roadkill / Ladykiller

Joe Hasselvander - Roadkill / Ladykiller

It was about time….at Last we can all have the first two personal albums by Joe Hasselvander, without to have to pay a small fortune for the long out of prin LP’s.
\r\n“Rock Saviour” re – released these two albums “Ladykiller” 1985 and “Roadkill” 2000 along with two rare, lengedary bonus tracks for the first time on one CD.
\r\nThis CD Starts with the “Roakill” album recorded from 1986 to 1989 with many heavy metal musicians contribute! The line up is:
\r\nTracks 1 – 6 ,recorded in 1986 with line up:
\r\nJoe Hasselvander- vocals, drums, bass, rhythm guitars
\r\nJay Smith- lead guitars
\r\nTracks 7-8, recorded in 1986 with line up:
\r\nJoe Hasselvander- drums
\r\nVictor Griffin- all guitars, bass, vocals

\r\nThe “Roadkill” album is a Heavy / groovy album and for sure one of the best works Mr. Hasselvander ever did, not in personal works basis only. Going with flow of the CD, after the 9 tracks Of “Roadkill” album comes on the “Ladykiller” album, recorded in 1985 with Joe on all intruments except the Lead guitars played by another legendary metal hero Mr. Jack Starr (as Tim Legrette). Jack Starr and Joe worked together also for the first, s/t, and last LP of Devil Childe back in the 1984 under the names “Matthew Hopkins” (Hasselvander) and Lucifer (Starr) “Ladykiller is for sure a really dusty diamond of the 80’s created by two of the best metal musicians ever, diamonds like these, even if are throwned into the mud will never lose their beauty and value… in one word… Heavy Metal.
\r\nMoving on to the bonus tracks, here we have the live version of Overlord’s (late 70’s band of mr Hasselvander) “Hellion” and captured from vynil. While the last track is the live version of the legendary “The Ghoul” played live in Virginia (1982) with the Doom Legends Death Row (Pentagram)
\r\nIn conclusion , this re release will remind beatuful moments of the past to the older and teach the real heavy metal music to the younger, though two perfect albums that left hidden for a long time…The only thing I feel that I have to say is that I feel very grateful for this re release from “Rock Saviour” also I feel ver grateful for the music of mr Hasselvander all these years. Thank You Sir!
