Killface - Faceless

Killface hail from Ireland and this EP is their first official release. “Faceless” is consisting of 4 tracks of straightforward, old school death/Thrash Metal. And by labeling it “old-school” I mean that this one is far from complicated songwriting or advanced guitar performance, to my ears they sound more like a mixture of Grave with a bit of Destruction, especially on the vocals. The compositions are simple and brutal with the guitars grinding and the drums pounding and the gore infested lyrics leading the way, all resulting in a typical death metal release.
\r\nThe production should have been better but since we are talking about a self financed CD (in times of economical crisis) I think we should turn a “deaf ear” to that.
\r\nI don’t know whether the band will attract the attention of fans or the press by releasing their full length, all I know is that they will satisfy those into old school death metal.
