\r\nLegendary Murder Metalheads , -Macabre- are finally here with their new full length album. It’s the fifth album for these veterans from Chicago and to be honest I was waiting for this release many years now. The last full length album they released was in 2003 and since then the band released a DVD and an EP. Finally, the band returned with 14 tracks full of scary murder tales. \r\n

\r\nThe new album has the title -Grim Scary Tales- and this time the band is opening the book of serial killers and specific they are dealing with the first pages, since the new tracks are talking for some really old serial killers like :Dracula, Nero, Bathory, Gilles de Rais, Gilles Garnier, Marry Ann Cotton and many other Serial Killers, all taken from past centuries. -Macabre- as always mix Thrash/Death/Proggressive/Grind/Metal but also Country/Folk/Traditional and many other different music styles. -Grim Scary Tales- is a great mix of many music styles that -Macabre- is calling Murder Metal. Great guitars, perfect bass and excellent drumming. The voice of Corporate Death(Lance Lencioni) as always sings in many different styles. Except the Thrash/Death/ vocals, Corporate Death is using many clear singing and even Opera-like vocals with a lot of theatrical mood. The production is awesome and is a job made at The Ensomberoom by Geoff Montgomery(recordings and mixing) and mastered at Strype Audio by Tom Kvalsvoll. The cover artwork is also an amazing work done by Scott Jackson/Monsterman graphic. \r\n

\r\n-Macabre- are back with another murderous album! The truth is that four of these songs were already known since they were released last year in the -Human Monsters- EP so I had a small idea for their upcoming album. -Grim Scary Tales- is an album that all the fans of -Macabre- will love for sure. This band should be added to the Encyclopedia of Serial Killers as they always release killer albums! \r\n
