Morowe - Piekło.Labirynty.Diabły

\r\nSometimes sickness can bring forth art. Some other times suffocation can be praised as a feeling of awe. Everything negative can be channeled into creativity and flourish. This is exactly what the polish sickos Morowe did in their first ever release. It is truly worth wondering what dwells within their mind during composition time..

\r\n I can use every typical describing phrase, talking about darkness and nihilism but I won’t be far out. After listening to this album from the ambient intro to its final notes I caught myself gasping for air. This is mucic created for the end of existence, the moment of utter annihilation of human condition. Only negative vibes and fever. And they succeed this without making too much fuzz and exaggerations on their end. The band plays mainly on mid tempo rhythms and through reversed riffing, dysharmonies and a bizzare aesthetics a la Mayhem of "Grand Declaration..." throws rotten feces on our faces. Their record company labels them as a post black metal act and if we had to put a label on them it would not be too wrong. You won’t hear any typical tunes here.

\r\n The vocals grab you by the throat the very first second you lay your ears on them. This guy does not use the typical black metal screams. He yells, suffers, praises rages. The mental decomposition coming out has never been heard before. The guitars are alien. Melancholic themes, displayed not in the usual way-mind you, putting out the soon to be dead psychic schemes, as if there is no tomorrow. The production fully supports the outcome while the minimal artwork is a perfect visual display of their ideas.

\r\n And for those who love a good wrapping and alternate versions, the album is coming out in a 32 page digibook while there will also be a 180 gr vinyl version. I’d suggest this piece of work to listeners with open minds and a will to sink in the dark.\r\n
