Nocturna Perambulant in Tenebris - Death Dawn

Nocturna Perambulant in Tenebris (what a name ah?) is an Italian band and they follow the
\r\nold paths of death/black metal. Never heard of them before but this is their first album after
\r\n"Nocturna Perambulant in Tenebris" demo released back in 2005.
\r\nThese guys are stuck in the past. You can listen to this even from the first riff of the album.
\r\nIn general we have a pretty good work but not for 2010. Their music reminded me of old
\r\nswedish death metal in parts and in other parts like raw old school death metal. Vocalist
\r\nhad a good work there on his vocals while the others are playing tight the already simple
\r\nmusic they play. I don’t think that you can take a bad production when you’re playing this
\r\nkind of music. It’s simple, clear as hell and in your face in their own old way.
\r\nAlthough the album begins with raw death metal, they progress their music to more melodic
\r\nforms, bringing a mixture of different periods of music, ending in a slight black metal feeling
\r\nwhen the band put their own character in their art.
\r\nThis is an album for old school fans in general. While they play loud and clear with some stadar
\r\neasy listening-catchy riffs, in the end it looked boring,out of time,  dissapointing me in what
\r\ni expected to hear in the first place.
