Nomad Son - The Eternal Return

Well, another late review, but since we are doomsters, its ok! Nomad Son second release , entitled “The Eternal Return” comes as a successor to the bands debut “First Light” released a couple of Years ago.
\r\nThe music direction of course hasn’t change, heavy 70’s inspired heavy doom featuring the electric sound of today and those moog organs and mellotrons of the mighty 70’s era. Heavy, thick sound and agonising riffing is the main features of Nomad Son along with this long lost eerie atmosphere that nowadays is so difficult to come across. Doom metal with some 70’s progressive touches in the vain of Uriah Heep, Black Widow, Atomic Rooster and the most of the 70’s dark obscure progressive rock bands is the outcome of this new release.
\r\nTo be honest I consider “The Eternal Return” as a better release than their debut album something that really pleases me and put a smile on my face knowing that the Malta doom metal scene keeps on delivering some masterpiece albums of great Doom!
