Pleurisy - Seizure

Pleurisy is an already split band and "Seizure" was their last cd before the break, released in 2007 by the Greek "Sleaszy Rider Records". The band formed in 1990, a pretty old band, they play death metal and they’re from the Netherlands.

\r\nThis is a band for the old death metal headbangers in the veins of Bolt Thrower and so many other cult bands. Music deals some European death metal punches too, along with traditional war riffs ala Amerika style, delivering a final result for the band that i think was the best way to close their career as Pleurisy. Fast riffing and mid tempo heavy music are the main characteristics of this album. Great production and a growling sound on guitars especially on the slow parts gives out some blows on your face that you won’t forget. Their mood is something between modern and old school styles but the awesome production looks like the band wanted to turn to a more modern and mechanical sound. And that was a great choice. There isn’t much to say about this record. It’s a review for a split band that happens to be great too. War death metal fans outhere...Check it out if you already haven’t.
