PSYCHO CHOKE - Unraveling Chaos

\r\nI still\r\nremember purchasing Psycho Choke’s debut “Choke on this” and I was blasted back\r\nthen. And since then, they have delivered quality metalcore to this day. Their\r\nnew try “Unraveling chaos” brings a lot more than the debut had offered (the\r\nsinger has changed also). The sounds are still sharp and extreme, but as far as\r\nthe production is concerned things here are much, much better and the\r\nbreakdowns are heavier. Their musical direction through the years has changed a\r\nbit and we can now listen to some catchy melodies rising from the brutal riffs.\r\nMix and master by Jacob Hansen(Nightrage, Heaven Shall Burn,Volbeat) is just\r\ngreat and so the nice riffs are really honoured in this album. Heavy razing\r\nguitars, cool and loaded bass lines and well worked vocals( both brutal and\r\nclean) combine really beautiful in “Unraveling chaos”, while the artwork by\r\nSeth Siro Anton (Septic Flesh) prepares our eyes for the aggression that\r\nfollows. With the help of some brilliant musicians as guests (Gus G., Marios\r\nIliopoulos, Olof Mork, Jacob Hansen), Psycho Choke really made a metalcore\r\nalbum to be played LOUD. Personally, I think of the “Get down” track to be the\r\nbest of the album and I was really happy to see them so active. So, all you\r\nbrutal people should not wait any longer. Go grab it! These guys take no\r\nprisoners. \r\n
