Raw In Sect - Red Flows

\r\n  Raw In Sect from Greece are about to release\r\ntheir first full-length album and they delivered to us a three piece promo, so\r\nthat we can have a first impression of what’s going to follow.\r\n

\r\n

\r\n  This four-piece thrash band from Athens has\r\nnothing “Greek” about it.  The influences\r\nfrom the American sound are as much obvious as successful.  They’ve managed to drift further from the\r\nlimits of underground and compose in a way that even the pioneers of the genre\r\nwould envy.  A balanced sound with\r\narticulate but gutsy guitars, filthy bass-lines and text- book drumming.  The vocals vary amongst the usual modern\r\ndeath/thrash standards.  At the fast\r\nparts, the riffing has a Swedish feel and at the slower, groovier ones, it\r\nbrings in mind the American scene.  One\r\nband that surely struck me as an influence is Machine Head, especially on “Man\r\nLess”.\r\n

\r\n  The sample is short but clear.  Raw In Sect is definitely going to release an\r\nalbum that will catch our attention.  The\r\nproduction is professional and the songs more than good.  The upcoming album is going to be entitled “Red\r\nFlows”.  Keep that in mind so that you\r\nwon’t miss the start of a very promising career.\r\n
