Requiem Eternam - Visions of Eternity

\r\nDespite the really catchy and attractive “tags” on the net, (Ancient music like Medieval, Orchestral, Classic and Epic music, Irish and Celtic music, music from Iceland, Ambient music, music from certain movies, some bands from Metal, Gothic and Rock music with good emotion and special ambient and atmosphere, Dramatic music) their songs are not that impressive. REQUIEM ETERNAM have nice ideas, in general, however the fail in creating the dramatic and anxious mood they are trying to create. This has to do both with the production, which is a mediocre, and the structure of the compositions, as it is very simplified and it can ’t support the heavy mood of the songs at all.
\r\nThere is much depth both on the vocal parts of Cori and Claudia, who does the operatic vocals and the sound is totally unprofessional. Furthermore, the screaming effect just pops in and out, without even using a simple “fade” effect.
\r\nI think that what REQUIEM ETERNAM are trying to do is interesting, yet they don’t do it the right way. The effort is good, but not enough.   \r\n
