\r\n-Rotting Christ- are back with their 10th full length album. The legendary Greek Black Metal band is ready and their comeback is about to be stunning!! Their new album is called -Aealo- (which means catastrophe -destruction,  in ancient Greek) and its definitely a ‘back to the roots-album’. And when i say roots i mean the Greek roots of the band. \r\n

\r\n-Rotting Christ- are returning with a tribute album to the ancient Greece with 11 tracks inspired by the gods and influenced by history. The band is adding a lot of Greek traditional and ethnic elements, epic feeling and you can smell the battle atmosphere all over. Great guitar riffs, beautiful lead guitars, nice bass, perfect drumming and the trademark voice of Sakis in great condition. There are a lot of Greek traditional themes, nice keyboards and many back vocals inspired by battle screams that are adding more aggression and war atmosphere to the album. The production is crystal clear, its done at the Lunatach Studios at Katerini-Greece and its a work of Sakis Tolis. The cover is also great and it’s a nice artwork done by Jerome. \r\n

\r\n-Rotting Christ- are back with an interesting album full of new ideas, experimenting mood and many guest appearances, such as:  Magus (Necromantia), Alan A. Nemtheanga (Primordial), Daemonia Nymphe and Dirty Granny Tales. Theres also a great cover on a  Diamanda Gallas song and guess what? Diamanda Gallas is singing  it!! Another great album from this band that shows their professionalism, their experimenting  mood  but also their great skills in composing songs with many new interesting ideas. Although their songs are talking about tales from the past, -Rotting Christ- are making  forward steps. \r\n
