Shining Line - Self-Titled

\r\nIn the last years all star Α.Ο.R.Ηard Rock projects are all the craze and that it’s maybe brings me fill later,but for this time, I wouldn’t say no....So we have some bands like Phenomena,Voices of Rock,Ayreon the Slash ’s new album,W.E.T and other bands which i don’t remember them.Like that the Italian band Shining Line come to add in list which in essence are Pierpaolo “Zorro” Monti’s dream who after the break-up of his preview band Sovversivo and later with Amos Monti and Alberto Re’s help he decided to form a band which they ’ll take part in.. all the greats names of Hard Rock,which goes to show that are easier said than done!Dream on!The main group is completed by Alessandro Del Vecchio(Eden’s Curse,Edge Of Forever) on keyboards and production, Marco "Dandy" D’Andrea and Mario Percudani on guitars, and Michael Voss on mixing and mastering.
\r\nSo ’’Shining Line’’ come to put on their self-titled debut album with a considerable number of A.O.R,Hard Rock Artists like Robin Beck,Harry Hess (Harem Scarem),Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart, Charade, Zeno, Redrum, Rain) Michael Voss (Mad Max, Casanova) and Erik Martensson (Eclipse, W.E.T) who they purport to be guests on vocals.
\r\nI don’t think so that it makes the album to worth the while,and i say what’s the difference?If you haven’t the bright idea to record something special and exciting,they has an ace up their sleeve,so what?In a few words I was not surprised at the mediocrity of their music and as the saying goes!’’bird in hand is worth two in the bush, a’’.The sound is a mixture of hard, melodious rock tracks that tread a line between upbeat hard hitters and softer ballads.I would be fain to call the tracks like rehash and nothing more.But i can’t say the album tired me and neither do i loved.
\r\nSurely,i propose it at the all A.O.R/Hard Rock avid collectors but everyone else you’d better have a think before deciding.\r\n
