Siegfried - Nibelung

A couple of weeks ago the Austrian outfit Siegfried just released their third album, entitled “Nibelung” that features some classic overplayed Symphonic / Goth metal sounds that despite the effort of Napalm Records to categorise it as “Epic Metal” the result is the same.
\r\nSoundtrack – alike dark metal with clean and brutal male vocals plus the classic ethereal female vocals, with the same repeating guitar riffs and some theatrical vocals and of course countless tons of keyboard work. As you might have realised already all these elements are not enough to pick this album from the pile of Symphonic / Goth albums.
\r\nIf we also add the fact that the whole album features German lyrics then things are getting worst for the band and slightly unbearable for us
\r\nClosing this review I d like to state that although I don’t rate this album as rubbish or something I have to admit that  “Nibelung” left no impression on me, positive or negative just no impression at all. So this is why I rate this album as one of the pile… I suggest taking a listen by yourselves and rating it according to your criteria
