The Sign of the Southern Cross - Of Mountains and Moonshine

As soon as I put the Cd on the tray I have to admit that I have been searching the back cover of the album to find Mr Anselmo! So The Sing of the Southern Cross as you already guessed is an outfit hailing from the South US and with this album, their first release entitled “Of Mountains And Moonshine”,  they really want to melt our brains against the floor with this great Southern sound, close to bands like Down, EyeHateGod and of course Corrosion of Conformity. Fully distorted guitars , riffing around and the awesome voice of Seth that sounds as more Anselmo than Anselmo him self.
\r\nThis is a punch in our faces from the South, so simple. Thankfully I haven’t listened that during the x mass holidays, because if I had, I would have been sleeping with a bottle of Jack under my pillow.
