Solefald - Norrøn Livskunst

It is pretty difficult when i have to speak about musicians like Cornelius Jakhelln (Sturmgeist,
\r\nManes) and Lars Nedland (Carpathian Forest, Borknagar), when they bring albums like
\r\n"Norron Livskunst ". This is not my kind of music but let’s take a look to this.

\r\n"Norron Livskunst " is their seventh album and from what i heard i can tell that they play
\r\nmany kinds of music. I could say that i listened to some folk, epic, heavy and a very slight
\r\ntaste of black metal. Production is very very beautiful with many instruments making their
\r\nappearance during time. You can listen everything loud and clear. This is important when
\r\nwe have to deal with heavy loaded music. But the music itself in my opinion is crap. Just
\r\nlisten to the third song "Tittentattenteksti" and you will see exactly what i mean.
\r\nMaybe some folk parts are good but classic and that’s all.
\r\n
\r\nGenerally the album is for a specific audience and i really don’t know what to say about this
\r\nmixture of different kinds of music. I don’t like it when i listen to an atmospheric part that
\r\nsounds good in the begginning and all of sudden they bring some school heavy metal riffs
\r\ncovered in female manga-based vocals. As i said this is not my kind and i find it worthless
\r\nexcept some numb good moments.
