Thy Disease - Anshur-Za

\r\nPolish metallers Thy Disease are e persistent band, reaching their 5th release in their almost 10 years of existence. A quite solid presence, in terms of releases evolving one step a time. Behind a morbid cover we discover a tremendously evolved band unfolding its talent.

\r\n And while the press note describes them as a death metal act the cd’s content is utterly different. Thy Disease have a rich sound, adding electronic elements the way Fear Factory did in their latest albums: smart and essential. Their music dwells within the wider extreme metal spectrum as it is dark -in the Dagoba sense- and has these rhythmic modern riffs. You can also find some melodic choruses here and there. These guys are too soft for the hardcore death metaller yet too extreme for the trendy ear and its exactly this thin line that gives them the quality and character they need.

\r\n Bands I’d -in vein- compare them to are the above mentioned Dagoba and greeks WEB but surely Thy Disease have a lot more personality and are more extreme in their sound. "Αnshur ZA" ’s production is top notch and crystal clear while the album is also going to be released with two additional bonus cover tracks of Depeche Mode and Madonna. Not such an original move, I believe, as both of those artists have been covered enough by bands of the genre.

\r\n No matter what, we have a more than decent release in our hands, that lacks no personality and character. Dare to invest and you will surely not regret the trouble.\r\n
