Walrus Resist - Staring From The Abyss

The Walrus Resist came from France and released in 2010 their first full-length called Staring from the Abyss, adding their name to the Death Metal area.

Their album compares the traditional and the modern character of death metal music, so this is a contradiction, which gives you to understand that this band is definitely shows love in the old school, but they certainly have in mind the more progressive and modernizing wave.

Well I could say that the sound of the tracks is quite sharp… more treble added in addition to emphasize the guitar riffs. We can see increased technique in all of their songs and also some melodic variations that make their music more interesting to the ear of the listener.

Although I believe that these guys could achieve more I bet that their next release will be able to justify their music ability.
