WHERE ANGELS FALL - Marionettes

WHERE ANGELS FALL - Marionettes

I don’t know Where Angels Fall, all I know is that they exist and that they walk among us waiting for us to give them the chance (those of us who can see them) to change our lives. Maybe even now, this very moment that these lines are coming to life, one of them might be standing next to me…who can tell? “Marionettes” is an album that is worth listening. Some might say that their music is the same old stuff since it’s all about another female fronted gothic metal band but what makes “Where Angels Fall” slightly different from the bands of the genre is that they have some electronic elements in their compositions having as a result to be sounding like a mix of “Within Temptation” and “Crematory”(as far as the keys are concerned).  Eirin Bendigtsen’s vocals are no less than the distinctive angelic female that the genre needs although sometimes they become quite eerie. The songs here although they’re not exactly what we would call “ground braking” they create a very pleasant feeling when listened to. Also the fact that the band has arranged everything, from production ( there is a very decent work here) to the promotion of their album on their own presenting a complete professional result is something that should be taken into consideration as well.
\r\nMaybe if they are given the attention-chance they’re waiting for they might be able to surprise us in the future. As I mentioned before Angels are always somewhere near. They’re just waiting to be given a chance and then….everything changes.
