X-Piral - Grave New World

“Grave New World” is the third studio release for the Athenians X-piral The band serves the Heavy/Power Metal scene since 2000, almost a decade now and having released two studio albums of well performed Heavy/Power Metal. So the EP’s predecessor are “Poison Eyes”-2005 and “Hunters”-2007. “Grave New World” continues the legacy. Here we have 5 new songs that despite their typical Power Metal form and sound are enriched with some melodic parts especially on the keys (you should listen to the dark intro of “Regression”..)
\r\nThe band sounds solid and well rehearsed but I think that their strongest point is the singer whose voice performance gives to the songs the power and the passion they need to really stand out.
\r\nGenerally “Grave New World” might be not a mind blowing release but surely is a decent suggestion for all the power metal fans. More over is a very good sample of a band that has potential.
