QUEENSRŸCHE LIVE DRUMMER CASEY GRILLO TO PLAY ON THE BAND'S NEW STUDIO ALBUM

Former Kamelot drummer Casey Grillo has been performing with Queensrÿche since 2017, in place of Scott Rockenfield. During a recent interview with SW Wall Music, Grillo revealed he will play drums on the band's new album. Recording is due to begin this month.

Grillo: "We've actually been doing writing sessions here in Florida. We'll get together and do the writing and stuff. Over the last year, year and a half, Michael (Wilton / guitars) started sending me tracks, and I would just do some tracks to whatever he did. Some of those songs became what's gonna be on some of the record."

Back in January 2021, Queensrÿche singer Todd La Torre revealed Grillo had been contributing ideas for the band's next album during an interview with The Signals Of Intuition (around the 22:15 mark), in which he also discusses his early years, joining Crimson Glory, joining Queensrÿche and the recording of his three albums with the band, and his new solo album, Rejoice In The Suffering.
