Eden Demise - The Takeover

Eden Demise - The Takeover

.Here is a band I am familiar with since the very early days. I still remember their first concert (they were called Providence at that time), when I got to hospital after my arm had moved out of place! Seems like it was yesterday to me. And now they have a nice new album on On The Attack Records (from the U.S). The kids are moving onto the trails they left with their Scars Of  A Shattered World ep. Whoever listened to it back then knows that we have to do with serious quality brutal hardcore like it was taught by Terror, Stampin’ Ground , Cataract, Kickback, Throwdown and Earth Crisis (whom they have covered live). There is a great sound as far as the guitars are concerned, while the rhythm section is so tight that the beatdown parts hit you right in the stomach (you need a firm one to deal with it,hehe!). Now about the vocals. They are loud and well done, brutal and they are not missing some expected hip hop touches (don’t be grumpy, you all know what I mean!), while the mouth of Jon Demise (the lead singer and lyricist who also made the beautiful artwork and layout for the album) spits lyrics of anger, revenge, brotherhood and attitude. Eden Demise have many experiences on stage not only with many bands from the Greek scene, but also with international artists such as Stampin Ground and Born From Pain, Punchline, Knuckledust(in London), Pro-Pain and many others. The sound is great (M.I studios) and the productions fits this release just like a glove. For a moment I thought I was in New York City! You will certainly fall on them some time and if you have never watched them live the album is here to convince you! Nothing will ever stand in our way, yo brotha wassup?
