Evoken / Beneath The Frozen Soul - Split CD

Every single release from the US based outfit Evoken is without any doubt a claustrophobic, black hearted and “rotten” experience. So their new release as a split CD with Death / Doomsters Beneath the Frozen Soil from Sweden.
\r\nThe first four tracks are by Evoken and as usual they deliver 4 masterpieces of pure funeral doom, chaotic, heavy and with such a unique atmosphere
\r\nThe last three songs are the participation of Beneath The Frozen soul that in general seem to like these kind of split releases since they have already a split cd release with Negative Reaction. So the tracks of Beneath The Frozen Soil are more traditional doom riffing doom death, with clean and brutal vocals with an eerie atmosphere
\r\nThis split release in general can be listened with such a pleasure trough it’s entirety, especially if you are a fan of one, or better of both of the bands you have to take listen to the album, although I d prefer a full length from Evoken, but I hope that will have a soon the successor of  “A Caress of the Void”
