Lion's Share - Dark Hours

Lion's Share Judas Must Die

Lion's Share - Dark Hours

\r\nThis is their first album via Blistering Records and I hope that this time their work will be more appreciated from metalheads round the globe. Sadly I realize that they still haven’t become widely known.
\r\nHeavier riffs on the top, more speedy compared to the previous album and characteristic vocals, full of intense and passion, are the elements that feature perhaps one of the best samples of modern power metal. Patrik Johansson’s voice often refers to Tony Martin’s style, as it sounds so close to the colors of his voice and its melody as well. The melodies that used to be the most characteristic element of their music during the first years of their existence are not playing the main role anymore, as Lion’s Share become more and more aggressive. Their style became heavier, while, on the other hand, they managed to keep the balance between their current music profile and their initial one.
\r\nThe album also features some guest appearances such as Michael Romeo’s (Symphony X, I don’t think that there are many out there who would actually need further info) and the drummer’s  Conny Pettersson (Anata).
\r\n “Dark Hours” was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Symphony X, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth) at the infamous Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, and the first video coming from this album is called “Judas Must Die”. \r\n
