Mirror Of Deception - A Smouldering Fire

\r\nThere are some groups that despite the fact if you wanted or not, really mark your life, that happened also with these doomsters from Germany, Mirror Of Deception, since their “Foregone” release along with some other albums were the music that have been keeping me company through my military service, so Mirror of Deception own a special place in my heart.
\r\nFour years have already passed since their latest release, “Shards” and the announcement on their official web page, about their forthcoming release this mid – October entitled “A Smouldering Fire” filled us with joy and impatience about the new album.
\r\nWhen I played for the fist time the album and the first notes came out from the speakers I felt once again this unique feeling that only bands like Mirror of Deception can make me feel. Many of you are already familiar to this unique, mid tempo, melodic and epic sound of them, with that essence of lyricism and outstanding double guitar melodic lines, while the rhythm section fills the best way the heaviness of the sound.
\r\nPersonally speaking, “A Smouldering Fire” has already gained a place on my list from the best releases of the present year, and I recommend to get your copy as soon as possible since the first run of the album by Cyclone Empire will feature a bonus disk entitled “ The First 2 Decades” , a collection of  rarities and tracks from their split releases with Tefra and Garden of Worm, plus the unreleased 2000 demo.
