Storm King - Angels of Enmity

\r\nDescribing Storm King’s music is difficult; it combines elements from grind, stoner, heavy rock, doom, and –mostly- death metal, and they are altogether technical prog oriented. So, I would just recommend to give it a chance and get your own conclusion.
\r\nStorm King are absolutely into the whole “modern metal” thing, and they have their own identity, which is full of nice ideas. Hellish blast beats and rhythm section (actually their drummer is uhm…semi- God, I‘d say) and avalanche of heavy riffs and solos. When the melodic vocals change the scene to Opeth-like, it’s absolutely wonderful.
\r\nThis album is one of the most interesting ones for this year in my opinion. Let me put it this way; it doesn’t make sense to me when such bands are still seeking for a contract..\r\n
